Full description
After being picked up, head 1.5 hours to the Fuji Visitor Center. From there, take some photos of Mount Fuji and capture its beauty. Enjoy the scenery before heading to Oshinohakkai, which is 8 ponds near Mount Fuji. Stop by Gotenba for a lunch break. In the afternoon, visit Hakone area, famous for its nature and hot springs. Stop by the Hakone Ashinoko Lake, and then go to Owakutani, the volcano valley. At the end of the day, head back to Tokyo, arriving at 6:00 PM.

It was an almost perfect day for the tour. We had an informative guide who was very pleasant and accommodating. At our request he brought us to a restaurant that served a delicious lunch. And he brought us to a few vantage points from where we had the best views of the majestic mountain.

Fast & Convenient transport service

Managed to confirm my last min booking in tokyo quite fast over xmas. However, my mistake not to indicate the address of my hotel clearly n the driver went to another hotel in the same area. Tried to call the local vendor but cant reach them in the morng. It will be good to contact the driver or ensure theres a 24 hr local contact. Otherwise ok.

An excellent day

This was a really good day trip and totally enjoyable. We were able to see the 3 things we set out to see/do (Mt. Fuji, Hot Spa Bath, Hakone Ropeway). Our driver was very helpful and pleasant, drove very well and though he had very limited English (and our Japanese is non-existent) we were able to converse with the use of a translator app and signs. I'd recommend doing this, although it is expensive for small parties like ours.
