On your way back to the ground, stop by Floor 345 to check out the gift shop, and pause at Floor 340 for a dizzying view straight down from a section of sturdy glass flooring. Sumo is as old if not older than Japan itself. At the Asakusa Sumo Club we will take you on a deep frive through history and how sumo has evolved throughout the millennia, while you enjoy an authentic sumo style meal in an intimate setting. Watch demonstrations of the morning exercises (asa geiko), somo of the techniques (kimarite) and the do’s and don’t’s of sumo wrestling before a best of 3 competition(tachiai)of real sumo between our wrestlers, who are retired from competition. Experience Sumo firsthand by challenging our wrestlers to a sumo match in the ring. (Limited to 8 people per show). If there are too many applicants, challengers will be decided by lottery. Intimate view of the Dohyo from all seats. To really feel connected to the action please upgrade to our front row seating. Take home a gift bag of souvenirs as well as a framed photo of you and your group with the wrestlers and geisha. Before the sumo show, guests can also enjoy Japanese dance performed by geisha in beautiful kimonos. ATTENTION- This is a show by retired wrestlers for entertainment purposes. Discover the scenic beauty of Mount Fuji on a day trip from Tokyo. Visit the Arakura Sengen Shrine and Chureito Pagoda, Oshino Hakkai, Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi, and the Healing Village at Lake Saiko. The first meeting point in Tokyo station, 8:00am departure. The second meeting point in Shinjuku station, 8:30am departure. Start your day with a visit to the Arakura Sengen Shrine and Chureito Pagoda, a scenic hotspot for Mount Fuji views. Climb the 397 steps near the main hall to capture the iconic scenery of “Mount Fuji & the townscape below” in a single frame. Next, head to Oshino Hakkai, a collection of 8 pristine ponds formed by Mount Fuji’s melted snow filtered through layers of earth. Taste the sweet spring water and enjoy the beautiful natural setting of the ponds, which blend harmoniously with the backdrop of Mount Fuji. Continue to Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi, where you can see the lavender fields in summer and the red kochia bushes in autumn. In summer, the lavender fields blanket the park in a purple carpet, perfectly complementing the majestic Mount Fuji. In autumn, the park transforms with red kochia bushes that are fluffy and delightful. In the fall, visit the Lake Kawaguchi Momiji Corridor to see the stunning sight of snow-capped Mount Fuji framed by fiery red maple leaves. This annual spectacle paints the shores of Lake Kawaguchi in vibrant autumn hues, creating an unforgettable landscape.(Seasonal about from Oct. 26 - Nov. 20, approx. 40 minutes; Oishi Park will not be visited during this period) Finally, visit the Healing Village at Lake Saiko, a charming gassho-style hamlet similar to Gifu’s UNESCO World Heritage Site. Opened in 2006, the village features around 20 restored thatched-roof houses, recreating a rustic countryside atmosphere. Each house offers unique experiences, such as restaurants, souvenir shops, and workshops. Hope for your understanding) 11:00am (Approx. 60mins) Then, learn the art of making matcha with local instructors. Savor a freshly made cup, and gain insights into Japanese culture.（The matcha experience lasts approximately 10-15 minutes） After your matcha experience, stroll along the shores of Lake Kawaguchi to snap a shot of Mt. Fuji. Explore Lake Kawaguchi, located at an altitude of 830 meters and spanning 5.7 square kilometers. The lake's intricate shoreline offers numerous vantage points to admire Mt. Fuji, and on a calm day, you can capture its stunning reflection in the lake's waters. 12:20 pm (Approx 90mins) Afterward, ascend the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway for breathtaking views along the way. From the observation deck at 1075 meters, enjoy unparalleled panoramic vistas of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. 14:20pm (Approx. 60mins) Next, wander through Oshino Hakkai, nestled between Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi in the Yamanashi Prefecture. This enchanting area is renowned for its eight clear springs, creating a harmonious and picturesque landscape against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji. 15:20pm Start to return to Tokyo. (The return/arrival time may be affected by various factors such as traffic and weather on the day. Please do not arrange other activities after the trip to avoid losses)

Experience the most famous sightseeing spots around Mount Fuji. Learn about Japanese history and culture while soaking in the dramatic views around Mount Fuji. Depart from Tokyo by bus and arrive at Kawaguchiko Oishi Park where you can capture beautiful photos with lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji in the background. Continue to Arakura Sengen Park, located halfway up Mount Arakura in Fujiyoshida in the Yamanashi Prefecture. Take in the panoramic views of the city with Mount Fuji in the background and admire the cherry blossoms in Spring. After that will be Oshino Hakkai, one of the most famous spots in the Fujisan area. You can see the 8 different lakes located there and taste the water from Mount Fuji. The last spot you will go to 5th Station (half way) of Mount Fuji, which is 2300m high. You can enjoy some special food or buy unique souvenirs here, with very close view of top of Mount Fuji. In winter, we will go to 4th Station/Mt. Fuji 1st Station or Yamanakako Hananomiyako park to see the diamond fuji sunset view instead.

Next, journey to the Hakone area and begin your exploration at either Hakone mountain or Komagatake mountain, to take a ropeway that provides an exhilarating ride with panoramic views of Hakone area and, on clear days, Mt. Fuji. This ropeway will transport you to Lake Ashi, a caldera lake where you'll embark on a scenic cruise. (Depending on the schedule for the day, we will visit Mt. Hakone or Mt. Hakone-Komagatake) Conclude your adventure by boarding the bus to Odawara Station, where you'll take a thrilling ride on the Japanese bullet train, Shinkansen, arriving back in Tokyo around 6 PM.
