This was an exceptional trip , our guide Analise was so knowledgeable and her obvious love of the sites we visited brought the places to life.Hadrians Villa was breathtaking walking in the footsteps of the emperor Hadrian was awe inspiring.Villa D, Este was completely glorious ,its many fountains are a sight worthy of a visit on their own . We had lunch in the village of Tivoli which we were told is 600 years older than Rome. The village is some 250 metres above sea level with wonderful views over the countryside below, there are also several cafes and restaurants in the village. We would highly recommend this trip!!

The bus transportation would have been fine, but the bus almost broke down right outside of town. That was a little scary! We would have liked a little more time at the Villa d’Este. I did not envy the Guide having to keep the group together, but she did a really good job of it! We would actually have been interested in an alternative trip with fewer people in the group. We would gladly have paid more for it.

Exceptional! It was the best and most interesting tour we had during our stay in Rome. Our guide was interesting and extremely knowledgeable. The Villas were extraordinary, not busy, stunning views, ruins, art, fountains, all around.

The trip was fine. Loved seeing the sights. But I cannot Recommend the lunch. I suggest not purchasing the lunch and finding food on your own as there were many available options nearby.

The guide was wonderful- very knowledgable and caring snd showed us special things.
