HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The trip to Tivoli to see 2 UNESCO world heritage sites — Hadrian’s Villa and Villa d’Este — is fabulous. If your stay in Rome allows for a full day tour outside the city, you should certainly consider this tour. Both sites are incredible and our guide, Giuseppe, was knowledgeable. He led the tours at a comfortable pace — allowing some time for him to speak about the sites and some time for us to explore on our own. There was a mixup with our lunch — we believe that we paid for the trip option with lunch (GYG says not so) so Giuseppe led us to Vineria L’Angolino di Mirko for lunch, That was another highlight in an extraordinary day. I would not recommend paying extra for the lunch. our lunch at L’Angolino di Mirko was outstanding, and none of the people who had lunch at the GYG reserved place were indicating that their lunch was similarly fabulous.

The trip to Tivoli at the beginning of February in wonderful sunshine was wonderful. Unfortunately, there was not enough time at the individual stations to explore the areas in detail. During our lunch break we had a great meal at Alice Pizza, right near the entrance to Villa D'Este. We'd love to come back.

Jospeh was our guide and he was fantastic, kind and very knowledgeable. Such a beautiful tour with easy convenient transportation and the meal was wonderful.

Giuseppe was a very knowledgeable guide, and both Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este were beautiful locations and highlights of our week in Rome.

Giuseppe was the best guide I've had so far with this company. Very knowledgeable, entertaining, and attentive. A+ service!
