Spend a few hours bathing and feeding elephants at an ethically run elephant sanctuary at the foot of Phanom Bencha mountain range. Complete the long-lasting experience with a visit to Tiger Cave Temple and a hike to the top to get a 360-degree panoramic view over Krabi. On the day of your trip, get picked up and drive to Krabi Elephant Care House in just 15 minutes. The location is surrounded by untouched lush forests and mountain ranges and boasts Krabi’s highest altitude at 1,397 meters above sea level, home to natural wonders like waterfalls, streams, and caves. Be met by a multilingual guide upon arrival, then start learning about the elephants’ behavior, what they eat, and their individual stories. Next, walk with the elephants, bathe them, and join them in the water for a refreshing cool-off. Watch how they take a muddy bath and brush them while they frolic and play in the water. Feed the elephants pineapples, bananas, vitamins, and medicine as you observe these gentle giants. The elephants belong to the locals and are treated as a family. A strong belief in human-elephant interaction is what makes Krabi Elephant House so special. You’ll get a life-enhancing experience with these unique animals and learn about them in a natural and relaxed environment. After a Thai-style picnic lunch at the sanctuary, continue to Tiger Cave Temple, a sacred site which is well-known for its exceedingly steep and sweaty ascent with 1237 steps. After climbing, you will be rewarded with an outstanding view over Krabi’s limestone rocks and coastal area. The main Tiger Cave and the so-called “wonderland” rainforest are also worth seeing.

Krabi: Private Trip to Tiger Cave Temple & Waterfall

Discover and swim in the Emerald Pool/Crystal Lagoon, a freshwater pool inside the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. The waters of this 120-square-meter pond take on a green hue, thanks to an abundance of minerals from the surrounding limestone hills. On the final stage of your tour, you will visit the Krabi Hot Spring, located in the jungle 40 kilometers south of Krabi Town within the Klong Thom Waterfall. Though the waterfall itself is just a cascade tumbling gently all but a few meters, it is unique in that the spring water that feeds it bubbles up from the earth at temperature of more than 50 degrees celsius. It cools a bit as it flows to the cascade and you can swim in the calm stream below for a much cooler bath. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned to your Krabi accommodation.

Such a good day trip to all the three spots! Tan was our guide for the tour and he was really informative and funny. I’ve saved his number for the future but I’d definitely recommend booking as it was relaxing and wasn’t at all rushed! Also the tiger cave temple is worth going at the end

Our tour guide was very nice, the tour was really nice. The steps up at the last stop are pretty steep, but you don't have to go up them if you don't want to. There are alternatives. A really varied program, very nice.

Very friendly, helpful guide Tan. We had a great day visiting the hot springs, emerald pool and loved the challenge of walking up to tiger cave temple. Amazing views, worth the effort. Highly recommended.

All round good experience. Sky could not be more helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

It was nicely planned and the time given was sufficient! Thank you!
