Your adventure begins from the hotel heading towards the entrance of the Tierra del Fuego National Park along National Route No. 3 by mini-bus. We enter the park delighting ourselves with its landscapes of lengas and cherries. We will walk along an interpretation path accompanied by our magnificent guides, who are very knowledgeable about the place and its nooks and crannies. From there we went to Lake Roca - Errazuriz to appreciate its waters and particularity, the surrounding forest made up of specimens that are over 300 years old and the borders with Chile. Nearby is the Alakush Visitor Center, within which we will visit the interpretation room on the fauna, flora and zoology of the place; and the exhibition on the human occupation of the park (among them the Yámanas, the first pioneers and the sawmills). Before continuing our adventure, we take some time to relax with wonderful views. After the break, we are ready to continue connecting trails until we reach the end of National Route 3 in Bahía Lapataia. Then we will make a stop in Ensenada Zaratiegui where we will find the Southernmost Post Office and we will walk a short path that will allow us to appreciate the rock formations and the forest falling to the sea line. After approximately 4 hours we will end our adventure with the feeling of having been part of the history and nature of our island (Train included in the trip). Once we are back in the city, we will drop you off at the port so you can take your sailing tour.

3. Tierra del Fuego National Park & The End of the World Train

After pickup in Ushuaia, travel towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. Along the way, stop to admire the panoramic views over the Beagle Channel. Cross the river and arrive at the End of the World Station. Choose to ride along the embankment used by the old convict train. Passengers who do not wish to ride the train will wait at the end of the train line.  Continue to the national park, an area reserved to protect the native subantarctic flora and fauna. Follow the path through the forest to Lake Roca, a glacial lake framed by mountains and forest. Look out for different native bird species, and spend 30 minutes in this beautiful place. Cross Cormorants Island and visit a beaver dam on the way to Lapataia Bay. See the beautiful coast, and traces of the ancient native settlers that used to live in the region. Walk along the footbridge, take photographs, and enjoy the feeling of being at the end of the world. Return to Ushuaia, where your tour will end.

Visit Tierra del Fuego National Park and ride the End of the World train. Enjoy the comfort of transportation from your hotel in Ushuaia, and take in the incredible views as you learn the history of the park. Depart from Ushuaia and head towards Tierra del Fuego National Park. On the way, you will be able to appreciate the wonderful views of lakes, lagoons, and rivers as you travel along National Route 3. Admire panoramic views of the Beagle Channel, the Ushuaia Peninsula, and the Bridges, Willie, and Les Eclaireurs archipelagos. Arrive at the End of the World Station. Here, board the train to travel the last 7 km of the original 25 km that the prisoners traveled 100 years ago and be enchanted by the extraordinary landscape. From here, at the end of National Route No. 3, start your return to Ushuaia.

Day 1: On day one, meet your driver from the comfort of your accommodation at 8:00 am and a start scenic drive through Tierra del Fuego National Park. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the views from Ensenada Bay; try to spot some wildlife! Then start a hike through the green forest & coast accompained by a professional guide. Enjoy the amazing landscapes! Walk along Lapataia Bay and get to know Acigami Lake. After some walks, enjoy a hearty lunch with a glass of red wine surounded by nature. Our adventure begins at the hotel, from where we head towards the entrance of the Tierra del Fuego National Park along National Route No. 3 by mini-bus. We enter the park delighting ourselves with its landscapes of lengas and cherry trees until we reach the beginning of the "Pampa Alta" trail, which together with the Ensenada loop will take us about 1 hour and a half of walking. From there we will head towards the “Sendero de la Isla”, also going along the “La Lenga” path until we reach Bahía Lapataia, the end of the Pan-American Highway. Finally, we will take the “Senda del Turbal” and we will go to Roca Lake, where we will have lunch surrounded by the Fuegian forest, with a beautiful view of the Lapataia River. From there we start our return to the city of Ushuaia.

Start the day with a pickup from your hotel around 8 AM and head for the Tierra del Fuego National Park where you’ll visit the most relevant sites with priority given to the natural attractions away from the tourist-dense locations. Walk some short, low-difficulty trails and make the most of your time with some expert information from your guide with lots of attention to detail. See all of the most popular panoramic points of interest within the national park, and visit Ensenada Bay, Cormorant Archipelago and, of course, Lapataia Bay, the end of all roads in South America. You’ll also see the rivers and lagoons within the national park, including Acigami Lake where lunch will be served in a quiet environment accompanied by drinks. Savor the food, company, and surroundings before returning back to the city around 2:30 PM.

Start the day with the pick-up from your hotel in Ushuaia. Once in the car, you´ll head west in the direction of the National Park. While you leave Ushuaia city, you´ll start to have nice views of the Beagle Channel and the Andes Mountain Range. After 20 minutes, you´ll be driving along the historical and beautiful Pipo River Valley, where the prisoners from the Old Penal Colony of Ushuaia were harvesting wood for over 50 years with the aid of a narrow gauge train. At only 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Ushuaia, you´ll find the famous train "The End of the World", which is a reconstruction of the old train of the prison and were you´ll spend some time discovering this wonderful attraction. Then it will be time to go inside the park either by car or by train (one hour ride). Once in the national park, you´ll continue west for about 25 minutes to reach its end at the coast of Lapataia Bay. This gorgeous bay of the Beagle Channel has a big symbolic value because the end of the route 3 is also the southern end of the Pan-American Highway. After spending some time walking and discovering the coast of the bay and taking pictures, there´s no other choice but to start driving in the other direction. Departing from the end of the Pan-American Highway, you´ll go to visit the stunning Roca Lake, which was carved and formed by the action of glaciers for over 10,000 years. After enjoying a cup of tea or coffee with the great scenario this lake offers, you´ll start heading east on the route 3, getting closer to the city. But before leaving the park, you´ll reach the coast of the Beagle Channel again to visit Zaratiegui Bay this time. This gorgeous bay with a magnificent landscape holds a special sub Antarctic evergreen forest as well as the typical "End of the World" post office. In this cozy and traditional post office you will be able to stamp your passport with special stamps and also send postcards from the furthermost point of America to anywhere in the world. From here, you´ll return to Ushuaia which lays 20 minutes driving from this bay.

Our trip got off to a great start when our guide contacted us on the evening before to confirm our arrangements and collection time. We were collected the next morning for our tour of the Tierra del Fuego National Park Our guide proved to be very friendly and knowledgeable about the history, geography , flora and fauna of the National Park.

A great introduction to the National Park - canoeing, hiking, and sight-seeing; plus a delicious lunch with wine! The full day tour was excellent! Guides had everything well-organized. I would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic day canoeing and hiking. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, Martin was a very good guide for the hiking part of the activity, and the lunch was really delicious. Not to be missed.
