A private transfer is the best way to start your holiday and will avoid you having to search for a taxi or ride in a crowded bus to reach your destination. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Beijing city center or airport and will drive you to the Great Wall. Once arrived, your driver will assistance you to purchase tickets(at your own cost), and tell you where he will be waiting for you, then you will enjoy your own time to explore the Great Wall. After your self guided tour, meet your driver at the parking lot, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing/airport. Here are some sections of the Great Wall you can choose: 1: Mutianyu Great Wall - most popular section among foreign tourists It is 75km away from Beijing downtown, offers great landscape of well-preserved walls and towers as well as beautiful surrounding greenery. Its road steps are also well paved. Driving Time: 1.5 hours Entrance fee 60rmb p/p, cable car round trip or ski lift up and toboggan is 140rmb p/p 2: Huanghuacheng Great Wall – unique lakeside Great Wall Some parts of Huanghuacheng are submerged by a big beautiful lake, which make the Great wall look like paddling in the water. It is less crowded than the other sections. Driving Time: 1.5 hours Entrance fee 65rmb p/p, no cable car 3:Juyongguan Great Wall - the closest section of the wall to visit from Beijing Unlike most of other sections of Great Wall which are just walls and towers, Juyongguan has an impressive fortress which used to controlled the access to Beijing for centuries. Driving Time: 1 hour - 1 hour 15 minutes Entrance fee 45rmb p/p, no cable car 4: Badaling – the most famous as well as most crowded section of Great Wall Open to tourism in 1957. Badaling Great Wall is the most visited section as well as the most commercialized section. No recommend to visit during public holiday, traffic will be bad. Everyone have to take the attraction's shuttle bus which waste time. Driving Time: 1.5 hour Entrance fee 45rmb p/p, cable car 120rmb p/p 5: Gubei Water town and Simatai Great Wall - explore beautiful water town and visit the Great Wall at night. Gubei Water Town is actually a replica of the Wuzhen Water Town in Southern China. Stroll around old streets, try local Chinese snacks, shop at the outdoor bizarres which is especially beautiful at night. While Simatai Section of the Great Wall is one of the more wild and authentic sections of the wall and has a beautiful view of Gubei and the surrounding mountains from the top. Your English-speaking guide will wait for you at the exit of the Arrival Hall with your name sign, hop into your private air-conditioned vehicle heading directly to Huangyaguan Great Wall. During your 2.5 hour journey, take in views of the Tianjin countryside and the Tianjin Xingang Port. On the way, your tour guide will tell the histories and stories about the Great Wall, as well as the Chinese histories, culture and life. Please feel free to ask questions if you have. Huangyaguan Great Wall runs on the ridge of mountains to the north of Ji County, Tianjin. Part of the cultural heritage of the world, it was initially built in Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577) and later renovated and lengthened during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The Huangyaguan Great Wall possesses many features including antiquity, grandness, steepness and gracefulness, and it is regarded as an 'Impregnable Pass' in Tianjin. This section is the longest restored section of the Great Wall with a length of 3052 meters. After lunch in the local restaurant. Continue to visit the Dule Temple.  Dule temple is of historical as well as architectural significance. Its oldest surviving buildings are two timber-frame structures, the front gate and the central hall (pavilion) that houses a colossal clay statue of the Eleven-Headed manifestation of the Bodhisattva Guanyin (Avalokiteśvara). Both structures date back to the Liao dynasty and are among the oldest surviving wooden buildings in China.[ Stroll through the halls and courtyards, learn many history and stories behind, your tour guide will also share the religions in China and more. Afterwards, your guide and driver will take you back to Tianjin Xingang International Port.

Meet our tour guide in your downtown hotel's lobby. Then heading directly to Eastern Qing Tombs(2.5 hours drive). Your friendly tour guide will explain the related histories and stories along the way. Feel free to ask questions if you have. The Eastern Qing tombs are an imperial mausoleum complex of the Qing dynasty. They are the largest, most complete, and best preserved extant mausoleum complex in China. Altogether, five emperors, 15 empresses, 136 imperial concubines, three princes, and two princesses of the Qing dynasty are buried here. Follow your tour guide to explore the few tombs including the tomb for Empress Dowager Cixi, who was known for listening to state affairs from behind a curtain. and the tomb for Qianlong Emperor, who was in real power for the longest time and had the longest life. You can choose to visit Eastern Qing Tombs as a day tour or combine either the Huangyaguan Great Wall or Dule Temple in the afternoon. Huangyaguan Great Wall The Huangyaguan section of the Great Wall including 3 km (1.8 miles) of the wall, 20 watchtowers, one pass fort, and one gatehouse. It is the longest of the Great Wall renovation projects. In Huangyaguan section, you can find the stone base built in the Northern Qi Dynasty, and the brick battlements laid in the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Watchtowers there are either solid or hollow, and have different shapes. Dule Temple Dule temple is one of great historical and architectural importance and has been recognized as a World Heritage Site. It is over 1000 thousand years old and is the oldest surviving timber structure in Asia. Follow your tour guide to explore this exquisite temple. Admire the 23-meter-high Guanyin Pavilion which is the highest of the existing double-story buildings in China. The Guanyin sculpture is, 16 meters in height, is one of the country’s biggest colorful clay sculptures. All the walls of the temple are intricately detailed with murals depicting important Buddhist icons, entering this temple really is an overwhelming sensation with a kaleidoscope of color and art as well as a window of learning about Buddhism. After the tour finished, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.

Day 1: Tianjin International Cruise Port to Beijing - Temple of Heaven- Tiananmen - Forbidden City Once the cruise ship docks in Tianjin International Cruise Port, your private guide will welcome you at the exit of the arrival hall, assist you with your luggage, then begin the 2.5-hour journey to Beijing. On the way, your guide will keep you entertained with fun facts and trivia about the city and its countless sights. Once arrival in Beijing, your tour will start from the Temple of Heaven. The magnificent and colorful Temple of Heaven was where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties would make offerings to heaven and pray for full harvests.  Then, you will stop at a local restaurant for a traditional Chinese lunch. Afterwards, you will explore the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City area. Spend about 2 to 3-hours to explore the palace and learn the detailed history and stories with your knowledgeable tour guide. After that, your will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing. (Please book your own hotel in advance) Day 2: Summer Palace - Great Wall - Tianjin International Cruise Port Check out of your hotel in the morning to begin your tour. Your first stop will be the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is the best-kept existing royal garden in Beijing. With a concentration of the best of ancient buildings as well as styles of gardening, it is a virtual museum of traditional Chinese gardening.  Then after about a 1-hour drive to the Great Wall at the Mutianyu section, stop at the local village for a delicious Chinese lunch. Then, set off on a 30 minute journey along the scenic mountains and villages to the Great Wall as your guide explains the stories and histories of the the Great Wall. Have plenty of time to enjoy the surrounding mountains and ride in a cable car or ski lift with toboggan at your discretion.  Your shore excursion will then conclude back at Tianjin International Port in time for your cruise departure. The journey back will take approximately 3.5-hours. Your tour guide and driver will ensure your timely return back to the ship at Tianjin International Cruise Port.

Our tour guide will wait for you at the exit of the Arrival Hall with your name sign, then travel by private vehicle to Beijing City which takes about 2.5 hours. This private tour is specially customized based on your interests. While driving, discuss with your guide the attractions you would like to visit in Beijing City (you will have approximately 4-5 hours to spend on sightseeing), your expert tour guide will put together an itinerary, then set off and explore! No matter you want to visit a market for souvenirs or explore the local allays to see the local life, we will try our best to make your dream come true. Basically, in the five hours of time available, you can visit the Tian’anmen Square and Forbidden City(tickets need to purchase at least 3 days in advance), Temple of Heaven, the Hutong alleys or wander through the shopping streets as well as taste typical local dishes. Here are other places you might like: Drum Tower and Hutong allays Lama Temple and Confucius temple and Imperial College Summer Palace(require at least 3 hours) Houhai lake area with bars and restaurants Pearl or Silk Market A delicious lunch in the local restaurant is included, at the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to Tianjin Xingang International Port.

Note: Tickets to the Forbidden City are tight all year round, once we failed to book the Forbidden City tickets, we will visit Jingshan Park on the south side of the Forbidden City, instead of the Forbidden City, standing at the top of the hill in Jingshan Park, you can still see the entire layout of the Forbidden City and the building structures. Day 1: Pick-up service from Tianjin Port, Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City(L) Your Beijing English-speaking guide will be holding a sign with your name on it and waiting in the lobby of Tianjin Port at 08:00. After 2.5-hours of driving, you will visit Tiananmen Square to observe monuments created from Mao's influence on China's modern history. From there, proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palace with 600 years of history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for approximately 2-hours. Then, you will have a chance to visit a Silk Museum and learn about traditional silk culture. After having a short stop, have a typical Chinese lunch for about 40 minutes in a local restaurant. Later, go back to your hotel. Day 2: Great Wall and the Summer Palace(L) On the second day, you will experience China's No.1 highlight attraction of the Great Wall , and we will enter the less crowded and quieter part of the Great Wall. After your visit, enjoy a Chinese lunch at the authentic Jade Gallery Restaurant, then you can also experience interesting ancient Chinese Jade culture there, later on visit the most impressive and beautiful Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. Stay for about 1.5-hours before you leave to enjoy an amazing Chinese tea ceremony at a local tea house. Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
