Embark on a self-guided tour as you travel aboard the world-famous Glacier Express panoramic train. With detailed instructions, you'll travel to Chur, on the Glacier Express train to Birg, and back to the starting point.

On the return travel, you may spend time in Brig or Bern according to your preferences. You'll get the travel booklet and all necessary personalized tickets by e-mail after your booking. Onboard the Glacier Express train, an audio guide in 8 different languages will be available for all travelers.

Was told there would be information throughout the trip to listen to. However, there were only 3-4 sound bites at the beginning of the long trip. We had to wave a waitress down to place our order after those around us had been served their food already. The actual glacier is not viewable from the train and our designated trip cut off before we even reached zermatt and the matterhorn. The shopping break in Chur was quaint, but the drop off in Brig was lackluster.
