What to Expect
Spend a day in the province of Thua Thien-Hue on a private tour to Marble Mountain and Non Nuoc Beach.
Upon arriving at Chan May Port, you will drive to Da Nang and take a short climb at the Marble Mountain and the stone carving village of Dong Hai, located at the foot of the mountain. The area is comprised of 5 peaks, which have come to symbolize the 5 elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire), and Tho (earth). Learn about the importance of the area for the people of Vietnam.
Later, spend time relaxing and go swimming at Non Nuoc Beach. This area extends to the north and south of the Marble Mountains, all the way down to Cua Dai Beach in Hoian. During the Vietnam War, Non Nuoc Beach was referred to by American soldiers as "China Beach," a name which is still controversial today.
After you have had your fill of exploring and hanging out on the beach, you will be returned to your cruise ship.
