What People Are Saying About Thingvellir
A visit to the Golden Circle is a must, and even though we were on the shorter tour (6 hours), it was long enough to properly enjoy the 3 stops, especially in the winter when the wind chill makes it difficult to be outside for long stretches of time. Pick ups were prompt and clear, our guide was informative, and we would definitely book with this company again.
Despite the weather the tour went like clockwork. The tour guide was very knowledgable and provided some interesting facts on Iceland and the wonderful scenery around us. It was a great day and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland.
Despite the rather unpleasant weather we enjoyed a very good tour led by an excellent guide.
This your was amazing! As always it matters less what you're going to see and more about who you are going with- getting there is half the fun! Our tour guide (forgot his name :(, originally from Morocco) was HILARIOUS in the best way possible, he was also full of endless facts about Iceland which were really informative and I still remember them to this day. There was not a single dull moment. He really made the group come together and we all felt like a little family for the duration of the trip. We did not feel rushed at any of the sights. It was just PERFECT!
We enjoyed seeing natural phenomena we'd not seen elsewhere and the ancient sites of the parliament and bishop's seat. The guide was an excellent communicator and had a great sense of humour, and the driver chatted to us on one of the stops which was nice. As the trip kept to time we actually made a couple of unscheduled stops, at another waterfall with a salmon ladder and a farm which trained horses (though they were not particularly friendly). The lamb soup at the lunch stop was delicious and also, the toilet facilities at all the main stops were well maintained and clean.
