Best Country, Best Travel Company, Best Experience! I have visited 25 countries and Bhutan is my favorite country. The minute we arrived we knew we were on sacred land. Bhutan is beautiful, profoundly peaceful, and the people have loving hearts. The steep trek up to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery is worth the breathtaking beauty at the top. Maebar Travel is the best. The owner, Tsenrig was very gracious and took the time to meet us. Being with him was like spending time with an old friend. Tour guide Dorji is very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and a living example of compassion. Driver Kezang also made sure we were safe and well taken care of. If you plan on visiting beautiful Bhutan, don’t hesitate to go with Maebar Travel. They will take care of you every step of the way.
Pradeep did a great job organizing this tour with visas on very short notice. Only a few days to arrange everything. Tour went smoothly and was just the right length for me. The Eagles’s Nest Monastery was the highlight of the tour! Stunning views and a great trek up. I also enjoyed the Takin Preserve. Tandan was a great guide and knew her cultural history very well. Pasaan was a great and safe driver. My only regret was that the choice of accommodation was so far out of the towns especially the two nights in Paro. The hotel itself was of a good quality but it was impossible to visit the town on my own as I love doing on my travels.
The trip was absolutely incredible! Alpine Club of Himalaya arranged everything perfectly- super helpful. The trip itself was once in a lifetime - the beauty of Bhutan is incomparable to anything else and the people are very peaceful and friendly. Our guide, Tashi, was amazing and looked after us very very well.
Great adventure! It is worth every cent. Not only the tour at Bhutan was amazing but also the welcoming and attention in Kathmandu. Sujan was super attentive and always taking care of every detail to make this an amazing trip
Absolutely fantastic experience! We had the chance to visit the western and central parts of Bhutan with our guide Pema, who gave us a very insightful view over this great country. Highly recommended!
