I really enjoyed the tour. A 5-day tour is obviously the most booked tour in Bhutan. The program is balanced between culture, some exercise in nature (the so-called "hikes" are walks that are really good since you spend a lot of time in the car), and time to relax. The guide immediately offered alternatives if something couldn't be done as planned and was very careful to convey all the information in an understandable and empathetic way. The organization worked perfectly, including help with the visa and everything on site. If I were to do the tour again, I would make sure that I wasn't the only person and therefore alone on the tour. In principle, an exchange is always good, and here it would be nice, especially at lunch and dinner, which you then eat alone.

The organization worked very well, starting with applying for visas and communicating with the head of the travel agency in Bhutan, which was very straightforward. The trip itself was breathtakingly beautiful, we received so much information and saw incredibly beautiful places. The big advantage of our tour was that there was a driver and a guide for the two of us, which meant we could ask questions all the time. Unfortunately, I forgot something in a hotel during the trip and our guide managed to have the item delivered to me despite the busy schedule. I can highly recommend this trip to anyone who is coming to Bhutan for the first time and wants to explore the west of the country.

Best Country, Best Travel Company, Best Experience! I have visited 25 countries and Bhutan is my favorite country. The minute we arrived we knew we were on sacred land. Bhutan is beautiful, profoundly peaceful, and the people have loving hearts. The steep trek up to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery is worth the breathtaking beauty at the top. Maebar Travel is the best. The owner, Tsenrig was very gracious and took the time to meet us. Being with him was like spending time with an old friend. Tour guide Dorji is very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and a living example of compassion. Driver Kezang also made sure we were safe and well taken care of. If you plan on visiting beautiful Bhutan, don’t hesitate to go with Maebar Travel. They will take care of you every step of the way.
