Very well organised trip; meeting point opposite of the train station was easy to find, and the tour started on time. We got to the first break point after only 1.5 hours, and to the lunch place at around 12pm. Recommend booking incl. the lunch option as it's good value for money for €8 pp, and the food is good. Then we were super lucky and were able to visit 3 monasteries without rain and clear sky. Every monastery costs €3 entry pp which is not included and can only be paid in cash. Our guide Maria gave us interesting information throughout the tour in between the stops, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery going up to the monasteries and at the places. Before heading back to Athens (last monastery closed at 5pm), we also stopped at 2-3 view points for great photos. Transfer back to Athens took 4 hours, got back at 10pm. The bus was very comfortable with wide seats and chargers for your mobile phones. Highly recommend the tour! The 8 hours drive didn't feel that long.

Our tour was great, though it was a larger group than we had hoped. Our guide was Maria and she was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Beautiful sites and great history. The tour details have a modest dress code listed due to the monastery requirements which most women in our group did not adhere to. While there are limited loaner tie skirts available at the monasteries, I would advise future tourists to do the respectful thing and wear a skirt or dress on the tour.

Janis was a great guide we were a small group- would have liked a longer hike around mt Olympus- and for me it was doable - though I cannot imagine ppl w mobility issues doing it- All the stops were great and a good mixture of nature and archaeological sites- highly recommend

A really inspiring trip! Physically demanding for two seniors with bad knees but still worth the effort. Van was clean and neat. Lunch place chosen was classic Greek dishes. Our guide was friendly with great info. Highlight of our travel.
