This was my second tour with Ammon Express (one in Athens, one in Thessaloniki), both have been excellent and a fantastic value. The price for transportation and guide is very reasonable and worth every penny! (Make sure to note admission to each site is on you!) My guide for this tour, Eva, is an archaeologist who trained at the university in Thessaloniki. She knows these historic sites and museums inside and out, in fact, one of her professors has helped curate exhibitions of women at several museums. She’s smart, speaks excellent English, works hard to make sure everyone on the tour has all the info and is happy, and never seems to lose her smile! She was a delight to talk with, and an outstanding guide. Our bus driver, Dimitris was great as well. Very smooth driving in a minibus with fantastic air conditioning on an extremely hot day. He always had the bus running and ready after a stop. The tour itself is amazing, well planned, but not overwhelming. Highly Recommend!!
The trip had amazing flow and Eleni was a great guide. Would be nice to have a little bit more time in Pella archeological site.
