We had a great guide (Margarita) and driver. It was great to get out of the city and the pools were almost empty when we arrived. I could imagine the thermal pools wouldn’t be as enjoyable if it was very busy. There are 2 small pools and a swimming pool (the water was too warm for a refreshing swim)! The stop off in Edessa was a nice pretty town.

Incredible day, the thermal baths are a must visit. You can rent a towel on site so no worries about carrying a wet towel around all day. The town of Edessa has breath taking views and the restaurants are great. Our guide Yanis was incredibly knowledgable, super friendly and helpful and made the trip even more memorable. Wonderful trip would definitely recommend everyone do this if you have the chance.

Great experience spending some time in Pozar and Edessa. The thermal baths weren’t too busy and were extremely comfortable. Few things to note: - The whole trip is about 8 hours, however a few of those are spent on a bus travelling. - We got about 90 mins at the baths themselves, but truthfully we wouldn’t have wanted much more than that. - The time in Edessa is a great chance to see a huge waterfall and eat at a fantastic restaurant. Don’t let the fact that you don’t get a huge amount of time in the baths put you off, it was a great experience.
