The say trip was great. Be prepared for a lot of driving, one way was approximately 3h and 30min stop. The views are breathtaking. We saw 2 monasteries, the Varlaam monastery was beautiful. I reccomend the trip! We also went to a restaurant to eat. It was not mandatory, but I think all of us went. The food was very good, but a lot more expensive than in Thessaloniki.
We had a lovely day trip to Meteora. Our guide was very kind and attentive - we heard it was her first time doing this trip, but we couldn’t tell - she was fantastic. The bus was so clean and had great airconditioning and lots of room. The trip was very interesting, with lots of facts along the way. The two monasteries we visited were beautiful and the lunch stop was fantastic, with delicious Greek food. Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Thessaloniki.
