Become inspired at The Sailing Museum! Opening its doors in Newport, Rhode Island in 2019, the museum was founded to preserve the heritage and history of sailing. Through use of the interactive exhibits designed by award-winning designer Healy Kohler, you can delve into the vast history of sailing in engaging activities for visitors of all ages. Housed in the space that was once the Press Room for the America's Cup, The Sailing Museum celebrates the legends of the sport, explores the skills and knowledge harnessed, and examines sailing's inspired innovations.
