What People Are Saying About The Pool NYC
We were thrilled by the honorable commemoration, including the huge collection of evidences from this terrible event.
The 9/11 memorial museum really embodies the memories and heartbreaking tells of what happen on September 11, 2001. It is a define must see. If you have any ties to what happen and even if you don't be prepared to experience some emotions while there.
If you are going to this exhibit, be sure you get there at least 30 minutes ahead of your ticket entry time. Lines are long and people spend a long time inside - hence - delays occur thru the day. The exhibits are as real as you can imagine it was. Though they could have surely had more, the pieces they had where spot on. There was numerous other exhibits such as videos, photos, etc. that really filled out what happened that day.
When we arrived at the museum we asked a worker how we were suppose to get our tickets? We had received an email with receipt of our purchase for 3 adult tickets for 1 pm admission. The email stated tickets were attached. When we opened the attachment there were not any tickets, no barcode for scanning for entrance. We were told by numerous workers at the museum that we needed a barcode to be able to enter. We tried calling the customer service number but because it was a sat no one answered. Thankfully, after many failed attempts of getting assistance, we were given tickets by the museum to enter since we did have a receipt indicating our purchase. Once inside the museum we fully enjoyed the time and effort that went into creating this memorial. It is a somber experience but memories of our tour will never be forgotten.
The museum is a tribute to the strength of people in the face of extreme pain, terror and adversity. The timeline is essential and chronologically spellbinding. I thought it might be sensationalist but it had me in tears. I spent 4 hours there which is longer than I have ever spent in a museum. I would go back tomorrow if I could since there were parts I had to skip over. I was physically sickened to watch video of people jumping out of the towers but also understood why it was included. Heartbreaking but essential. Leave yourself plenty of time since you may well be more moved by the Museum than you think you could be.
