Wow, what an incredible trip. Our driver Skip was hilarious and very knowledgeable. We had a delicious dinner in the desert, a great sunset and a perfectly clear sky to look at the billions of stars. Definitely an unforgettable experience. Thank you Gavin and Skip. Great work.

Pinnacles are mysterious and a heaven for photographers. The area is very large and beyond my expectations. Dinner IN a desert is a very unique experience. Sitting in a circle with people from all around the world is fun. Enjoying a glass of wine with chicken sausage and 5 different kinds of salads should comfort some picky eaters. Even though Mother Nature decided to display an array of thick clouds on a full moon night, all the professional equipments were properly set up. Through the large telescope, I saw the brightest and roundest moon ever in my life. We will come back for stars next time. On the way to pinnacles, we visited the amazing white sand dunes and did some fun sand boarding.

The whole experience was great. Hotel pick-up was on time and easy, and the group was not too big (two vans, approx 30ppl). First stop at Lancelin on the sand dunes to try sand-boarding, then Hangover Bay to take a look at the sea and learn about native plants and flowers. Then all the way to the desert, some free time to go around and explore (about 1 hour) before having dinner (typical aussie bbq) and hear about starts and galaxies. Gavin is extremely knowledgeable about both flora and the universe, and it’s a pleasure to hear him explain things. Overall a very pleasant day, with a long drive back towards Perth after dinner.
