It was wonderful. I didn’t grow up in England, but I have loved English literature since childhood, and Jane Austen was my gateway into this world. I found it fascinating to learn so much new information and immerse myself in the time when Jane Austen lived. The museum has a wonderful atmosphere, with its design and staff perfectly capturing the spirit of the era. I highly recommend it!

This was a lovely attraction. It was historical and whimsical at the same time. There is an adult dress up room so you can dress like her characters and take a picture with Mr Darcy. Great fun. Wrote a note to Jane with a feather pen and ink. It was worth the price as a fan of Jane Austen.

Discover a permanent exhibition that tells the story of Bath's most famous resident, the author Jane Austen, at the Jane Austen Center. Explore the effect that living in the Georgian city had on her life and writing. Costumed guides will take you through the exhibition and be on hand to satisfy your quest for knowledge of all things Austen. Taste some period-recipe food, dress up in Regency costume, and have your photo taken with the world famous Jane Austen waxwork. There is a delightful gift shop on the ground floor, which sells unique items bespoke to the Jane Austen Centre, and a delicious Regency Tea Room on the 2nd floor, which offers 17 varieties of leafed tea to go with locally baked cakes. The guided tour runs every 30-minutes.
