1. The Hague: Guided Tower Climb
Climb The Hague Tower with your knowledgeable guide who will explain to you the history of this landmark. Revolutions, restorations, wars, the French Occupation, and lightning strikes, The Hague Tower survived it all. With 600 years of history, the Hague Tower is one of the oldest buildings in the city and a landmark for travelers and locals. Christiaan Huygens, Vincent Van Gogh, and even Napoleon climbed this unique tower. It was built in a hexagonal shape to protect it from the sea wind. Climbing the Hague Tower is possible for almost everybody as there are several floors on the way up on which you can rest for a moment. Once you're at the top, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views from the beautiful skyline, Rotterdam, and the sea. After the tour, enjoy a complimentary bottle of water (sparkling or still) that will be waiting for you downstairs. A handout with the English translation of this tour is also available at the ticket center upon request.
