It’s easy to find and close to everything else you may want to explore. All of Escher's work is amazing and a variety of his work is on display. There’s also an interactive monitor to view Escher’s work from the beginning to the end of his life. The shop is brilliant too with popular Escher prints for sale and other art merchandise & jewellery. Well worth a visit, enjoy!

Escher is an exceptional and well ahead of his time. If you are in any way involved in graphic design this is a must see when in The Hague. I gave the exhibition a 4 instead of a 5 because the museum rooms are relatively small and air circulation sub optimal. Even though visitor numbers were kept low and controlled, I felt that mask wearing would be appropriate as well, especially for exhibits such as the video on the life of Escher which only 5 people can watch at a time, but which takes place in a small and stuffy space.

Even if you haven't heard of Escher or know his work this is a "must-do" exhibition. The whole exhibition is well organised and displayed tastefully throughout the rooms of the old palace without seeming to be out of place and enabling one to view details about the palace as well. Lots to keep both young and old entertained throughout, especially in the interaction section on the top floor - unfortunately the museum closed at 5:00 pm otherwise we would probably still be there!! The facilities such as the cloakroom, luggage store (as for all museums large bags must be stored in free lockers before viewing the exhibition) all in excellent condition. There is a audio tour that one could download for free onto your phone but we didn't do this as the process was time consuming and required too much personal information. But an audio tour wasn't actually required since all the exhibits & works had good descriptive information in both English & Dutch
