Brilliant experience! You can't go to Edinburgh without booking this! The actors were amazing and the set up was eerie but fantastic, there was also a few surprises along the way! I went with friends and we were clung to each other the whole time (nervously laughing). Actors interact with you but don't touch you. Scary but definitely a must!!

I don’t think the description matches the activity. I thought this was a historical tour of dungeons with our guides in costume and acting as characters from the time period of the dungeons. Instead it was a theatrical experience. There was lots of parts were the lights were flickered off and people would appear in front of you when the lights were turned back on. It was a good experience but I didn’t want to do anything ‘scary’ so I was a disappointed to learn it wasn’t what I was hoping.

It's something you must do if you are in Edinburgh. It is very scary, but you will enjoy it and learn about the dark side of Edinburgh. You will learn historical facts that happened from the 17th century on. It's very interesting and the actors are superb. It is very well done. Kudos to the actors. It is also safe, as the actors won't touch you at all and they are very careful with safety. It is very important to know it I think.
