Dan (“Dan with the van”) was our guide and he was wonderful—he drove safely, told us engaging stories along the way, and gave us plenty of background information about each stop without overwhelming us. He also had great recommendations for food/activities. The tour was really well structured and I really enjoyed the day. If you’re worried abort traveling domestically throughout the country on these day trips, don’t be! Social distancing was actually enforced, they did temperature checks before we boarded, and everyone wore masks inside the van, which itself was super confortable. Highly recommend this tour and thanks to Dan for helping to make it a memorable day!
Our guide was James. Darren also came along and he was very nice. James was cheerful and happy to give us info about Stratford , Oxford, and the cotswold village we visited. James lives in Stratford so he had great recommendations on food and things to do. Everything ran on time minus the traffic on the way back but that was due to road construction. It was a wonderful day, thank you!
I liked the fact that we managed to visit 2 of the most highly rated Cotswolds villages, Burford and Bibury. We had enough time in both villages to do the photo shots, enjoy the fall scenery and leisurely walk along the street. Oxford was a bit hectic as 2 hours is not enough for the city.
Tour was great. We loved the fun facts the driver/guide shared along the way. Stops along the tour give you a great taste of country life and Cotswolds living. Time was well spent and we wish we had more time in each village-I guess it’s an excuse to go back again, and again.
It was a wonderful trip around Costwolds and Oxford. The tour guide was absolutely entertainment telling us enjoyable stories about the royalty and countryside. Also give us enough information to visit key points in each part of the trip.
