Observe magnificent whales in their natural habitat before exploring Terceira Island, either in a shared tour or with your own private group. This tour is ideal for those who want a bit of island exploration in the most radical way. Routes are taken along secondary roads, which are not part of usual tourist itineraries. They are narrow, beaten paths and used mostly by farmers - you'll get to see the real Terceira.
The roads are lined either by blue hydrangeas (hortensia), large trees or rough walls of basaltic stone. They lead to breathtaking views and you should take the time to stop along the way, step out of the jeep and take a closer look at all the magical nature that surrounds you.
