A truly great experience. The ride down the mountain offered some amazing views of the island looking out towards La Gomera and La Palma and inward through the beautiful pine forest and up to the volcanic scenery of Mount Teide. The tour was hosted by Andreas who was very knowledgeable and lead the ride with caution, which was required at all times whilst always making it fun and exhilarating. A reasonable level of bike handling skills and fitness is required. The terrain for the first 1000m of decent is loose gravel and it’s very easy to lose your front wheel (my brother did at turn 4 ) beyond that the pave becomes firmer and you have some confidence to let the brakes off although most of our group cooked the brakes by the end of the ride. All in all a great trip, thanks to the Explore team.

It was really AN EXPERIENCE! I suggest it to everyone. If I could rate you 10 stars, I would. Amazing sightseeing + riding downhill on a good (sometimes truly great) road is a pleasure. Difficulty: medium and I mean it. I had ride MTB before and it was a bit challenging for me. My partner had never tried it so there were a couple moments when he was really frighten. Equipment: it is not in the description, but you've better take sunglasses, it will protect your eyes from wind. Also we had +6 degrees on the route start (January). Guides: team of friendly professionals, who helped with all our issues.

Fantastic, well worth the money. Andreas deafly looks after you and the rest of the group informative breath taking views will definitely do the trip again! Bikes were brand new and a dress, kept checking them to make sure everything was in working order. Would recommend this company for me.
