  • Observe dolphins up close from an unobtrusive kayak
  • Swim and snorkel with turtles in a secluded bay only accessible by sea
  • Get spectacular views of the coastline and mountains of Tenerife
Full description

Climb aboard for a kayaking adventure in Tenerife and get up close and personal with dolphins and turtles in their natural environment. Observe the amazing creatures from a vessel that does not frighten them or disturb their natural habitat.

Be surrounded by pods of up to 30 dolphins that sometimes put on a show by jumping high into the air. Home to up to 5 different species of dolphins, including bottlenose dolphins, the waters just off the island’s coast are ideal to marvel at these lovable creatures.

While the bottlenose dolphins are the easiest to spot, other species inhabit the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, including rough-toothed dolphins, striped dolphins, and common dolphins.

As wild animals, views cannot be guaranteed, but there is a 95% chance that you will encounter the animals on your trip. Get an optional swimming break and snorkel with turtles and bull rays in a bay only accessible by kayak as a bonus.

Usually, within a few minutes, curious turtles arrive and get very close, swimming around and in between you. Also, bull rays regularly glide elegantly along the sea bed underneath you.

Honestly this experience was incredible! We paid £25 for this activity which included 3 hours of kayaking and snorkelling, and the guide takes your photos for you! You kayak for around 3k so a level of fitness is required. We had Jessica as our guide and she was amazing, the way she swapped between English, French and Spanish was incredible. We saw turtles and dolphins and watching the other companies in the same area ee definitely chose the right company, some of the other companies were getting way too close to the dolphins and scaring them away however we got some good views by maintaining the eco tourism rules! I would 100% recommend this activity to anyone!

It was definitely worth it. Was just nice to see the turtles in the water. The only thing that wasn't so great was that the real hunt for the dolphins was made by other providers with the motor boats... should be banned. Our guide was great. Advice on parking could be given though... we were coming from the other side of the island and really struggled to find parking - definitely allow more time!

Different experience from the usual whale watching by boat, you need to be in good physical shape and not suffer from seasickness.Ana was very nice, despite having an unlucky day without turtles and with 2 dolphins seen from afar and for a few seconds. less because we booked the guide in Italian and arrived at the meeting point we discovered that there was not. Ana spoke English, Spanish, French and Portuguese and for us it was not a problem, but I think it is correct to notify the customer, if he books a guide in Italian, notify him immediately of the problem and let him decide whether to confirm the reservation or cancel, it is a question of fairness.
