I would highly recommend the half day excursion with Christopher!! He was very entertaining and impressive with his multi-language skills. Seeing Mt Teide is spectacular and we were so happy we booked this. Perfect outing to see some beautiful landscapes, with enough time to still enjoy the rest of the day when you return to your hotel. Excellent!

I really enjoyed this tour, it was the perfect length and even the drive was just beautiful. I had considered driving myself but it is so much better to be able to focus on the landscape. Thanks to Thomas for his interesting facts and Roberto the driver for navigating the bus safely!

Full description

Benefit from a pickup in the south of Tenerife and then drive up to Mount Teide via lovely local villages. Stop for coffee, then at Vilaflor village. Journey through a beautiful pine forest that provides precious water and arrive at an unforgettable plateau with a lunar-like landscape.

Ascend above the clouds at an altitude of approximately 2,000 meters above sea level and marvel at the volcanic rock formations surrounding you.

Admire the UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain from different perspectives.

I really enjoyed this experience, it started around 8am and ended at 2:30pm for anyone wondering (roughly from pick up to drop off depending on where you are). I didn't do the cable car but whilst you wait for the rest of the group (so around 2.5 hours) you are free to roam and hike in the area and get some food if you wish. I enjoyed hiking independently and a lot of the areas there was no people but it was safe. The guide spoke multiple languages and was really knowledgeable, the coach trip wasn't boring as the guide was providing information both the way up and down. Also free tasting of cactus jam on the way down.
