Very nice to see. Wine is not having a strong taste as for example french wines however though it might even taste a bit sower it is very mild once you swallow it. To it some cheese and nuts and barriers, which always fit 100%. I think every wine lover should take time for this experience. Tour was also very good. It was held in English and Spanish at the same time. I had a bit of a feeling that the guide could say more in Spanish than in English. I assume this is because of the language. It is also not a very heavy tour. You see wine yards from one balcony and than you go through wine basements in production. So it’s not physically hard to do. Panorama is amazing. In the end nice tasting. Girl that served us had always a story to every wine. Really good.

Great value for money. We received 4 wines (1 white wine, 3 red wines) to be tasted with the matching cheeses. Then we were shown the winery, showing us the old wine cellar and the architecturally interesting new wing. The winery is beautifully located and is worth a visit for that reason alone.

I had a great tour at the Monje winery. The tour was led by the sixth generation winemakers and he explained everything very well. With here and there a joke and many details. The wines were very nice to drink. I had one white wine and three red. The explanation with each wine was sometimes a bit hard. The English language of the speaker wasn't that well spoken. The cheeses were okay to eat. After that I spent some dimes in the wineshop.
