Visit the Pirámides de Güímar Ethnographic Park and Botanical Garden and walk through an open-air museum with six stepped pyramids oriented towards the sun on key astronomical dates. Discover more about these strange lava rock formations from the 19th century AD. Walk through a park that was twice nominated for the European Museum of the Year Award. Follow several outdoor routes and specialized gardens that cover over 64,000m2. Enjoy the large variety of plants at one of the five botanical gardens in the Canary Islands. Ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo per il pacchetto base. Abbiamo acquistato l’audio guida a un prezzo irrisorio ma che ci ha permesso di avere qualche informazione maggiore rispetto alle descrizione esposte. Ambiente curato in tutte le sue parti. Forse ci aspettavamo qualcosa di più data la particolarità del luogo. Comodo parcheggio gratuito. Abbiamo pranzato al bar caffetteria del museo che consigliamo per la disponibilità del personale e per il menu semplice ma ricco.

We definitely loved the audio guide it was informative, not like the signage and gave context to the entire site. We enjoyed the Polynesian displays and learnt a lot about not only the islands but the culture. We would always recommend the premium package as the secret garden was amazing. The poisonous plants exhibits showed how commonly used plants in ornamental gardens are toxic and poisonous to wildlife as well as humans.

Man kann nicht nur die Pyramiden sehen sondern wird auch über die Exkursionen von Thor Heyerdahl informiert incl. einem Originalnachbau der RA II. Außerdem gibt es noch ein gutes Museum, welches Überblick gibt über das Leben der Menschen von früher. Sehr sehenswert, aber es liegt. versteckt, wir mußten es erst suchen. Es liegt in einer Nebenstraße. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert.
