Full description

Discover this breathtaking hiking adventure among basalt walls over 700 metres high. Endemic flora of the island during the hike. And basalt rocks with impressive formations. We will start this trail in the hamlet of Masca. We will visit the visitor centre, take our helmets and start walking through this protected natural area. We will go to the beach of Masca. It has a distance of 5 kilometres with 700 metres of downhill with many steps. We then return along the same path to the village of Masca, where we start the route by hiking uphill and downhill.

There are no words for this place. This is a once in a lifetime experience, and you should do it with this guide and not on your own, because of the rich history and care that he imparts to the experience. Beyond helpful and generous, caring, and knowledgeable. The hike is hard. Definitely must be an active person and bring good boots.

Myself and my sister headed on this trip a few days ago - with our tour guild and the small group of hikers from all walks of life - it was very enjoyable and informative too … Hike out was fairly easy with a few steep inclines , the hike back was a real challenge - definitely want to have a good level of fitness! Heart rate was up at 177 on the last 500m But I would go back in the morning and will be telling anyone that goes to Tenerife to go see Alax and the Masca Amy & Ali the Irish Twins xo

Our guide was absolutely wonderful! He told us a lot of interesting staff and kindly aswered all questions. Also he took care of a girl who hurt her knee - and was really calm and professional. The place is totally mingblowing! One of the most beautiful places in Tenerife.
