Meeting point
For the majority of the year, we base our coasteering at Lydstep Headland (10 mins from Tenby) where we’ve explored a selection of spectacular routes. Lydstep is a great place to meet us with a free and rarely busy carpark just 2 mins from the start of the coasteer. Navigation Links: Firstly - ignore the map provided by GetYourGuide, it is wrong! Use these links: - https://maps.app.goo.gl/ay629CJGX9rnhYbb7 (Google Maps) - samplers.congas.entire (what3words) Directions: From Tenby, drive past Lydstep Holiday Park into Lydstep village, turn left 75m after the Lydstep Tavern. Head down the bumpy lane for about 500m and turn right at the blue ‘parking’ sign after the cottage. From the Manorbier/Pembroke direction, the turn is on the right ~170m after entering the village. Occasionally weather conditions make another location more suitable – if that’s the case, we’ll get in touch ahead of time with details for the alternative venue.

What to bring
- Closed-toe shoes
Know before you go
- Suitable for adults, groups, and families
- Bring some footwear - Trainers are the absolute best thing to wear coasteering – they’ve got good grip, thick soles and are secure on the foot. Wetsuit boots are ok (you want a decent sole though) and beach-shoes/reef-shoes can be adequate IF they’re secure and have a decent, thick sole! You really, really don’t want to lose a shoe mid-coasteer.
- We also ask everyone to bring a pair of shorts to wear OVER their wetsuit. This serves two purposes – you look great (ish) but mostly you get a bit of padding and your wetsuit gets a bit of protection.
