Things to do in Telavi

This was a spectacular day trip with Kartlos that I cannot recommend highly enough. He’s a knowledgable and experienced guide who provided a five-star experience for my friend and me from beginning to end. This was a truly unique Kakheti experience you won’t find anywhere else: a private tour of Alaverdi (including access to the cellars), followed by a private tasting of the monks’ wines, and then a visit to a local family’s home and cellar for a homemade lunch of traditional dishes. These experiences were possible because of his deep connections to people and the trust they have in him. We’re looking forward to our next trip to Georgia and doing another tour with Kartlos!
