Full description

Depart from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and learn about the history of Israel and the Jewish people on the way. After about an hour of driving, arrive at the Mount of Olives from which you can admire the magnificent views of the Old City of Jerusalem and the very first city; the City of David. Walk down to the Dominus Flevit Church and see the hundred thousand Jewish graves towards Gethsemane, the place of the Judas kiss. Stop here for a refreshing tea, coffee, or juice. From the valley, the bus will bring you back up to the Dung gate from where you will ascend to the Temple Mount. During lunch it is possible to visit a souvenir shop on your own, there is no group visit to a souvenir shop. Next, continue to the Jewish quarter, to see the Wailing Wall, the Roman Cardo, part of the Via Dolorosa and Golgotha, the place of the crucifixion, and the Holy Sepulcher.

It was really an excellent tour, we enjoyed it a LOT. All the details you included in the tour, from the detailed history of Israel, to the van infrastructure to the beer at the end, it was a memorable experience. Menno, our guide and manager at the company, was very professional, polite, and conducted the tour with excellence. Among 7 tours in Israel, this one was definitely the best one.

The tour was very informative. You would never have seen and experienced so much on your own. Ryan took the time to answer each question. The delay we had on arrival was also made up for and the program was not shortened as a result. Jerusalem is just awesome. The tour is definitely worth it.

Our visit to Jerusalem exceeded all of our expectations. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with an in-depth overview of the history of the city and the current social/economic environment. It was a long, hot day but a very worthwhile outing. It is advisable to wear shoes with treads to comfortably maneuver the steep hills and ancient polished stone passage ways.
