Took my 3 grankchildren (13+17+19) on the ride. We were the only passengers so we had a smaller boat than I believe the company usually uses. The ride was only 15 minutes (as advertised) but more than enough time to experience the thrill of the ride. The bonus was 2 of the kids got to take the wheel and drive the boat for about 1-2 minutes each (not to worry, the pilot retained control of the gas throttle). A little pricey but something different.
Eliah was an exceptional guide. The wait at the Church of the Nativity is long and the administration of this place has a lot to improve, but this is something beyond the control of the guides. I hope that the situation in the region allows us to continue living such an unforgettable experience, highly recommended.
Excellent guide, very entertaining and informative - and an expert on the matter. Had a great time. Absolutely worthwhile. Would do it again anytime.
