All the sites we very interesting. Petra was a once in life time experience. We had the whole day to explore the city. The first half of the day with our guide. Our guide was Bedouin and very knowledgeable about the site. He is an archeologist who has excavated two sites there. Wadi Rum was beautiful! Our trip started in Tel Aviv, but did realize it also started in Jerusalem also. This trip helps you get through the Israeli/Jordan border on the return. The only drawback is that it is a lot of riding in the bus. It was long ride to experience Petra but worth it.

This tour is a must do! If you’re on the fence because you read some negative reviews, put them behind you and just go on this tour. I was so hesitant to take the tour after seeing some of the comments but I am so grateful I gave it a shot. It was the tour of a lifetime. From the communication, the coordination, the amazing tour guide (Mahdi), the amazing driver (Anas), the food, the accommodations and getting the opportunity to visit Petra and Wadi Rum, this tour was flawless. The border crossing into Jordan took our group of 17 about 20 minutes in total. Coming back into Israel we all through would he hellish but it went smoothly. Just make sure you take hand bags and not regular luggage to make the process easier. The food options for vegans and vegetarians were excellent in ALL venues. I can easily say this was one of the most fun, well-organized, adventurous tours I’ve ever taken. Make sure you bring appropriate shoes and attire for Petra because it’s a LOT of walking! A+ tour!

See everything Jordan has to offer on this three-day tour from Tel Aviv. See Petra, visit a Bedouin camp, and marvel at the clear, starry skies of the desert. Day 1Begin your tour in Tel Aviv, and head toward the Jordanian border. Enter Jordan at the Allenby Bridge border, and drive through the arid desert for about an hour before enjoying a delicious local lunch. Continue through the stunning desert landscape of Wadi Rum, virtually untouched by humanity. Travel through the moon-like landscape in a 4×4 Jeep and marvel at the red sand dunes, towering cliffs of weathered stone, and desert animals in the light of a beautiful sunset. End your first evening at a Bedouin camp near Petra with an Arab-style dinner and a comfortable bed. Before going to sleep, sit beneath the clear desert skies and stargaze as you drink a cup of delicious Bedouin tea. Day 2Early the next morning, enjoy a quick breakfast before heading to Petra. Explore this world-famous archeological site in the morning with your guide before taking a lunch break at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the other areas of Petra, including the monastery, on your own, before heading back to the Bedouin camp for another delicious dinner. Day 3Enjoy breakfast at the campsite and then head to Madaba, an ancient Jordanian city. Walk up to the viewpoint of Mount Nebo for a panoramic view. Relax with lunch and then head back to the Allenby Bridge border crossing, arriving back in Tel Aviv in the afternoon.

Petra is truly a one of a kind life experience. Walking through the canyons and discovering the city of Petra cannot be described with words. The 3 days we had with Mahdi our tour guide and Abraham Tours was well planned, the explanations where amazing and we felt very well taken care of. Jordan is a fascinating country and the tour not only includes a whole day at Petra but also more stops along the way to see and learn about Jordan and it’s history and to do a very fun Jeep tour through the Wadi Rum desert with optional camel rides. I cannot recommend it enough to everyone considering doing this.
