Embark on a full-day guided tour from Tel Aviv to the Judean Hills and the shores of the Dead Sea by bus. Perched on a high plateau, the ancient fortified palace of Masada became a refuge for Zealots who took a stand against the Romans, until the mass suicide of the zealots in 73 AD. The ruins sit precariously on a plateau some 1,300 feet above sea level and measure 2,000-foot long by 1,000-foot wide. They boast extraordinary views of the Dead Sea and the Judean Desert. It is an exhausting climb, but we will ascend by cable car to make life easier. Explore the fortress built by King Herod in around 37 BC. Visit the remains of the palaces and see mosaic floors, Roman baths, and other findings. Masada was also home to the oldest synagogue in Israel, but one of the most remarkable features is the 12 water cisterns, each with a capacity of up to 140,000 cubic feet. Following the tour of Masada, you will drive to the Dead Sea Mineral Beach located in the Jordan Rift Valley, between Jordan and the West Bank. It is the lowest place on earth and its high density of salt makes for a unique experience as you float on the beautiful aquamarine surface. Take a mud bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. You will then drive back to Tel Aviv, with an on-route view of the Qumran cave, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

On this full-day tour of the Holy Land, enjoy pick-up from your hotel in Tel Aviv in a comfortable air-conditioned coach and travel along highway no' 1 to Jerusalem. You’ll be accompanied throughout the day by a knowledgeable, professional guide. You’ll enjoy a panoramic overview from Mount Scopus, overlooking the new city of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount Esplanade of the old city. Bethlehem, meaning “City of Bread”, was the birthplace of Jesus according to Christian tradition. Your drive to Bethlehem takes you by way of Nativity Circle. Visit the Church of Nativity, and also the cave where Jesus was born. You’ll see Manger Square, where Jesus was placed after his birth. Before completing the tour, visit St' Catharine - a Roman Catholic Church. You’ll enjoy an overview of the Shepherd's Fields on the return drive to Tel Aviv.

After a pre-sunrise departure from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, drive through the rolling hills of the Judean desert. At 5:30 AM, you’ll arrive at Masada, a set of mountaintop fortifications that date back to the 1st century BCE. Hike to peak to watch the sunrise from the summit, painting the surrounding valleys in rich hues. Continue to the En Gedi Nature Reserve, which covers an astounding 3,500 acres. A massive oasis in the desert, it includes vast streams and rivers that spill out from impressive waterfalls. Amble through the mountainous terrain, marvelling at the lush greenery in the heart of the desert. To cap things off, head to the Dead Sea, where you’ll have 1.5 hours to relax. Coat yourself in its iconic black mud, famed for its restorative qualities, and float in the highly saline water. After your time at the lowest point on earth, you’ll head back to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Petra began to decline after the earthquake in 363 A.D. Not having enough resources to rebuild it, people left Petra. Day 1: Petra There will be a flight at 06:30 a.m. from the Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. We will pick you up from Eilat Airport of Ramon at about 07:40 a.m. and take you to the Arava border. Drive to Petra in an air-conditioned vehicle. When we arrive at the visitor center, we will start the tour. We will see the Treasury House, the tombs the Roman Theater, and more. You will learn about the Nabataens history, their art, their gods, and more. After 3 hours of walking and learning, we will eat lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch you will be taken to Wadi Rum, where you can sleep in a Bedouin style tent, and enjoy the atmosphere and the quiet of the desert. Day 2: Wadi Rum After breakfast in the Bedouin camp, we will start the touring day. A drive of about 2 hours on 4x4 wheels will take you to a magnificent landscape. We will introduce you to the Nabataens ways, and the Bedouin way of life. After the tour drive back to the Arava border and to the Eilat Airport for your flight back to Tel Aviv. Arrive back in Eilat at around 15:30, and the flight out is usually around 20:40. (You may have some extra time before your flight)

Embark on a comprehensive full-day tour of the West Bank of the Jordan River to discover the rich history behind the region. Depart Tel Aviv at 6:30 AM and then arrive on the West Bank after one hour and meet your guide. Beginning with the ancient baptism site of Qasr el Yahud on the banks of the Jordan River at around 8:00 AM, you'll be able to visit the marble steps leading into the river, said to be the very place where Jesus was baptized. At 8:45, move onto the city of Jericho itself, the oldest city in the world, where you will visit the ruins of ancient Jericho and view the nearby Mount of Temptation in the adjacent hills. Then continue to Ramallah at 10:15 and walk the streets of this modern city and see life in the big city on the West Bank. The tour will head to Manara Square, the thriving commercial district, and visit Yasser Arafat's tomb. Stop for lunch at around 1:00 PM before continuing onto a tour of Bethlehem at around 2:30 PM. In Bethlehem visit to the Nativity Church, and end with a visit to the Separation Wall. Return to your hotel in Tel Aviv at around 6 PM.

Arrive at Ben Guiron Airport in Tel Aviv 1 hour before your 6:40 AM flight. An hour later, you will arrive at Roman Airport in Eilat, where your driver will pick you up. From there, ride to the Arava border and go through border control and customs at 8:45 AM, taking up to 1 hour. On the Jordanian side of the border, transfer to an air-conditioned car/van/bus and head towards Petra. The transport time is approximately 2.5 hours on a vast and comfortable highway. After traveling along a beautiful scenic route on the mountainside, arrive at Petra’s historical site, and see why it has been named one of the 7 New Wonders of the World. At 11:30 AM, begin your guided tour of the site at the entrance. Included in your package is an optional horseback ride for the first 200 meters of the route. (Tipping the carrier is required, between $2-5 at your discretion.) At 3:30 PM, enjoy lunch at an authentic local restaurant. Leaving Petra at 4:30 PM, stop at a few observation points and enjoy the beautiful desert landscape of Wadi Ram on the way back to the border. Be dropped off at the Eilat Central Bus Station at 7:00 PM, with plenty of time to catch the shuttle to the Ramon Airport for your 8:55 PM flight to Ben Guiron in Tel Aviv.
