Once ready, begin the adventure ride on a scenic track that passes through the old quarries of Guatiza. Continue towards the Mala Dam, and take in the views of the ruggedly beautiful barren landscape dotted with cacti. Finally, arrive at the highest point of the island, Peñas del Chache. Begin the descent through Teseguite on your way to the El Mojón quarry, before making your way back to Costa Teguise. See how the artist Cesar Manrique creatively and tastefully designed this section of the tunnel to create a harmony between art and nature. Pause to spend some time at the restaurant, view the concert hall, and see a small lake with a direct connection to the sea. The lake is also home to small white blind crabs, which can be seen with the naked eye and are usually found only in waters more than 2,000 meters below the sea.
