Tokyo is the world's largest city and after dark at its most impressive - when neon lights, skyscrapers and gritty backstreets transport you to another world. This private trip by car with an English-speaking driver takes you through some of Tokyo’s most spectacular locations at night. Choose between a 4-hour or 7-hour tour, and explore the city’s highlights such as Tokyo Tower, Shibuya, Shinjuku and the Rainbow Bridge in comfort and style. The 7-hour trip option offers a mix of both daylight and nighttime sightseeing, with a glorious sunset over Tokyo Bay (weather permitting). Start your journey with a choice between four recommended optional sites before the sun down: Tsukiji Outer Market for a taste of some of the freshest seafood in Japan, the beautiful Hamarikyu Gardens, futuristic digital art at Tokyo TeamLabs, or a dive into history with a visit to the Samurai Museum (tickets not included in the attractions and we recommend to reserve Tokyo teamlabs at least few days in advance). Then, head to Odaiba for a chance to see the Gundam Statue, Fuji Television or Statue of Liberty whilst enjoying spectacular views of Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge at sunset. We then enjoy a scenic drive across the illuminated Rainbow Bridge as you zip along the Shuto Expressway, swerving through Tokyo's lit-up skyscrapers, immersing you in a world straight out of Blade Runner. Arriving in Ginza, you have the option of a drive-by or a quick stroll through one of Tokyo's most upscale shopping districts or even a refreshing beverage at the Lions Beer Hall - Japan's oldest operating Beer Hall! Next, drive by Roppongi Hills with an optional ascent up Mori Tower for sweeping views of city whilst with a stopover near Tokyo Tower for view of Japan's most iconic tower, followed by dinner - you can choose from a variety of authentic Japanese dishes such as yakiniku, izakaya, shabu-shabu. After dinner, drive through the stylish Omotesando Avenue on your way to visit Shibuya Scramble crossing, the world's most famous intersection. End the night in Shinjuku, with visits to Kabukicho, one of Tokyo's largest entertainment districts which is also home to Golden Gai, a collection of narrow, whimsical alleyways hosting intimate bars and restaurants. Our tour begins at Kiyosumi Gardens, a small piece of art in this corner of Tokyo with its Japanese gardens, with little bridges over the ponds and pine trees styled in the typical "ball" pruning. We will then move towards the Monzen-Nakachō district, an authentic fragment of shitamachi grafted into what remains of an ancient network of canals. The Fukagawa Fudō Temple and the Tomioka Hachjimangū Shrine are two destinations that you shouldn't miss. We will then move with Tokyo's convenient public bus service towards the Toyosu district, crossing the Sumida river delta admiring futuristic skyscrapers around us. Here a fabulous banquet of fresh sashimi will await us at the "Iroha" restaurant. There will also be other Japanese dishes (including cooked food, for those who prefer it to sashimi).
