Full description

Explore Kazbegi, the mountainous region of Georgia. Feel the Caucasian Georgian spirit in the Caucasus Mountains. Take many beautiful pictures, hear exciting parts of the history, try the traditional Georgian dish Khinkali (Dumpling), discover the most beautiful part of Georgia, and get unforgettable memories.

Your first stop is Zhinvali Water Reservoir on the Georgian Military Highway. The Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s—a wonderful place to take amazing pictures.

Visit Ananuri Fortress, the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area around the 13th century. See stunning views of the fortress and Zhinvali Reservoir. Have lunch in Pasanauri, the homeland of one of Georgia’s traditional foods: Khinkali.

Admire the Friendship Monument of Georgian and Russian people in Gudauri, on the Georgian Military Highway. Contemplate the history of this fascinating monument overlooking Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains.

Explore one of the most beautiful places in Georgia, Gergeti Trinity Church in Kazbegi. Get a panoramic view of the whole valley from the church, which is one of Georgia’s most iconic attractions. Be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, standing 5047 meters tall.

Go to a local luxury hotel and have a cup of coffee in the stylish restaurant while you relax with stunning mountain views.

Very pleasant trip, the time flew by like nothing! There was a couple of cool stops along the way to Kazbegi and our guide Lika entertained us very well, so the long drive never got boring. It was good for me as a single traveller with a small child for the social aspect and the safety too. The weather and roads were challenging but we always felt save with the drivers, the cars and Lika explaining a lot and kept calm. We were rewarded with the most beautiful and spectacular nature up there. Also my 5-year old had a fantastic day! So I guess recommended for all ages :) Thank you Lika ❤️

We had a great tour. Our tour guide Roma was very friendly and created a good atmosphere. Also felt that our bus driver was very professional, felt safe during the tour. It was pretty chilly but places were nice and group kept up a good spirit ☺️ I would rate this tour with 5⭐

A well-organised tour led by an exceptional guide (Shoti) whose knowledge of and passion for Georgia are impressive! The sights and scenery are simply spectacular — what a treat to see the majestic Kazbegi covered in thick snow. Shoti handled the group very well. He is charismatic and is able to answer any question about Georgia with ease. It was a long day with plenty walking but I can’t recommend the trip enough. If you’re going in the winter months, be sure to wear shoes with grip that can withstand snow slipperiness.
