Full description
Explore Kazbegi, the mountainous region of Georgia. Feel the Caucasian Georgian spirit in the Caucasus Mountains. Take many beautiful pictures, hear exciting parts of the history, try the traditional Georgian dish Khinkali (Dumpling), discover the most beautiful part of Georgia, and get unforgettable memories. Your first stop is Zhinvali Water Reservoir, also known as a lake, it is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s—a wonderful place to take amazing pictures. The second place is the Ananuri Fortress, a castle, and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The fortress was the scene of numerous battles. Ananuri is a perfect place for landscape photography, and there are stunning views of the fortress and Zhinvali Reservoir. After Ananuri Fortress, you have a chance to have lunch in Pasanauri, the homeland of the most famous traditional Georgian food Khinkali. The next stop is the Friendship Monument of Georgian and Russian people in Gudauri. The monument is located on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri ski resort and the Jvari Pass, the memorial is a large round stone arch and concrete structure overlooking the Devil's Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. The following site of the tour is Kazbegi, where you will explore one of the most beautiful places in Georgia, Gergeti Trinity Church. The church is located under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level. You will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley from the church. Due to the church’s isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature remains Georgia's most iconic tourist attraction. You will be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, which is 5047 meters above sea level. The last place on tour is the Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, an excellent choice for travelers visiting Stephantsminda, offering a luxury environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. You can have a cup of coffee in their stylish restaurant and relax with a stunning view of Kazbegi.

We lived this trip so much! All the attractions were breathtaking and the food was excellent as well. Our tour guide, George was so professional, he helped us a lot and we could ask him anything from Georgian history to the current political situation. Do not hesitate to book this tour!

Well organised trip with an awesome guide, Kathryn, who told us a lot about Georgia and the sights as well. She was also super friendly and talkative, she tried her best to forge the six of us into a real group with socialising, questions and conversations. The driver drove safely (Misha, one of the best during our trip in Georgia) the minivan was in good condition. The visited sights were really astonishing! Absolutely recommended!
