Our guide George was a very nice guy. He was kind and helped us understand the meaning and stories behind the places he took us to. He’s informative and knowledgeable. He speaks and understands English very well and knows how to keep up a good conversation. He followed up with any suggestions and information we needed. Highly recommend this tour. The sights were spectacular and the lunch was great.

If you do one thing in Georgia, make it this excursion. The incredible beauty of Kazbegi, Gergeti, and the Ananuri fortress is amazing and almost indescribable. We had so much fun traveling on the Georgian military road, learning about its history, and seeing the countryside. The Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument is a must-see - it's a really interesting monument surrounded by amazing views. George was our guide and he was amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made recommendations for our excursion that we didn't even consider. He went above and beyond to make out trip the best it could be. He also took us to some spots that most tourists go to (like climbing to the top of the living quarters of the Ananuri fortress.) Plus, he is an AMAZING photographer! He captured memories for my husband and I that we will cherish forever. This was our favorite excursion in our 8 days in Georgia!

My tour to the Kazbegi region was absolutely wonderful! I have been to something like 35 countries and this may have been my favorite tour of them all. Besides the absolutely breathtaking sights and the delicious lunch at Rooms (an add on option I really recommend), the real star was the tour guide. Irakli was so personable and knowledgeable. He made the tour so memorable and I learned so much. We had such wonderful conversation the entire time. You really feel like you are traveling with a new friend. In fact, I am booking a second tour with him for later in my trip. I honestly do not know how to express just how much I recommend this tour and tour guide. Seriously. Just book it. It's so worth it.
