Full description
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 10:00 AM and from there you will start your full day tour of Tbilisi and Mtskheta. Through Mtskheta, the former capital of Georgia, see the Svetitskhoveli Orthodox Cathedral, built in the 11th Century. Continue walking through the old city where you will visit the Djvari Monastery, which was built in the 6th Century.
Stop at places such as the old parliament building, the opera house, the Rustaveli Theater and Freedom Square. Walk through parts of the old city where the sulfur baths and waterfalls are located. See the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi and the 13th-Century churches of Sioni and Metehki.
After exploring the old city, go on to the mountain using the funicular to reach the top from where you will have amazing views of the entire city of Tbilisi. On Mtatsminda Mountain there are many cafes and bars that you can visit before you head back to your hotel.
