A fun day out which was very interesting as well. Vardzia and Rabati are both well worth a visit, though Rabati is sadly a bit over-restored. I found the guide to be very friendly and knowledgeable. I might have welcomed a few more free moments to explore some details in the caves of Vardzia, but one must stick with the group when one books a group tour

Shota was a great guide -- informative, caring, witty, talkative and kept our spirits up throughout the long day! I appreciated the trip's main highlights but also stopping at picturesque lookouts and having a delicious lunch. It didn't feel rushed despite the fact that we saw three different locations and then stopped several more times along the way. Also kudos to our intrepid driver! The agency itself is very well organized, with the project manager staying in touch over whatsapp and arranging for hotel pickup (if you pay the extra charge when you book). Very impressed with this tour.

This was a fantastic tour made even better by our tour guide, Metro. His knowledge of Georgian history and culture was impressive and it seemed everyone walked away with a newfound appreciation of the country. The journey was long, but between Metro’s stories and making a few rest stops, it seemed to go quickly. The Vardzia cave complex was a definite highlight of the day and well worth the drive to get there. Overall, a really great day!
