Full description
For groups, the activity begins in the parking lot near the Avlabari metro station, as marked on the map. You will meet our guide there.
Head out in the morning to take advantage of the best time to take pictures in Mtskheta. Before Mtsketa, visit the monument on a small hill near the Tbilisi sea called the Chronicle of Georgia. This monument depicts the religious and historical events of Georgia.
On to Mtskheta, visit the Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the architectural sample of the 6th century and enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Mtskheta. A walking excursion is waiting for you in this city full of red-roofed houses.
Visit the 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral next, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral is built on the site where the robe of Jesus Christ is kept.
Free time in Mtskheta can be used for shopping and tasting wine or various sweets.
