Head out in the morning to take advantage of the best time to take pictures in Mtskheta. Before Mtskjeta, visit the monument on a small hill near the Tbilisi sea called the Chronicle of Georgia. This monument depicts the religious and historical events of Georgia.
On to Mtskheta, visit the Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the architectural sample of the 6th century and enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Mtskheta. A walking excursion is waiting for you in this city full of red-roofed houses.
Visit the 11th-century Svetitskhoveli Cathedral next, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral is built on the site where the robe of Jesus Christ is kept.
