What people are saying about Tavira
I travelled with my 3 teenage Grandchildren and booked this trip only the day before when we decided to visit Tavira from Olhao. It was an excellent comfortable way to tour the old and new town as well as the outskirts to see the Salt flats. Our guide Filipe was very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. He was able to answer all our questions about Portugese culture, food etc as well as Tavira and its History. The tour was the right length of time and gives a good overview with time after to return and explore places that you have a particular interest in or to eat etc. Our age range was 68 to 13 and the tour suited us all. It is not possible to seat more than 2 or 3 in a facing position in the Tuk Tuk but lots of opportunities to swop around on regular stops to visit churches, castle etc
A group of 5 of us had a superb time being shown around Tivira on a Tuk Tuk. Bruno our guide was very helpful and explained the different facets and history of the city. The tour was well organised from start to finish, it include a visit to a port shop and the salt pans. Bruno dropped us off at a nice restaurant at the end our the tour.
This was the best Tuk Tuk tour we had in Portugal. Attention to detail and lots of information. We loved it! If you have an opportunity to visit Tavira, this is the way to go with your private Tuk Tuk! I wish I were there right now! Thank you!
Booked a 12 seater for 9 people. They turned up in an 8 seater plus a car. Very helpful and friendly. Found our villa easily despite being given a wrong address!
Daniel the guide was very friendly and extremely passionate about the eastern Algarve. Enjoyed all the sites we visited and lunch was superb in his company.
