What to Expect
On this half-day coach tour you’ll see Sullivan's Cove, the birthplace of Hobart, as well as Parliament House and Salamanca Place, with its Georgian-style warehouses. Visit Battery Point and admire its charming historic houses, pubs, and boutiques. See Constitution Dock and the ABC Buildings, Hobart's original sandstone railway station.
Next, you’ll head to the Brooker Highway, passing North Hobart and New Town on your way to Richmond, one of Australia's most unique and historic towns, dating from the 1820s. Cross the Richmond Bridge, the oldest road bridge in Australia.
In Richmond, you’ll visit Richmond Gaol, which has been operational since 1826. Explore the village of Richmond and see the bridge, convict-built homes, classic Georgian mansions and small cottages, many unique shops, galleries, and restaurants.
