From Civitavecchia: Tuscany-Latium Wine Tour with Tastings

Embark on a guided tour from Civitavecchia Port and discover the wine culture of Tuscany. Learn how fine wines are produced, visiting historical wineries, some with a limited production but of high quality, others already open to the international market. Walk among wonderful vineyards and we will turn into modern winemakers accompanied by the typical products of this strip of flat land, halfway between sea and mountain. Explore 2 or 3 different wineries, depending on the option selected. Head first to Roccapesta farm. Surrounded by typical Tuscan Maremma landscapes, this is the perfect place to learn about and sample Morellino di Scansano and other wines produced in this region. The winery offers a wide range of products, suitable for every palate and occasion. Italian wines are famous all over the world and the ones from Maremma have something really special. We are proposing a real senses experience: a journey to discover the authentic flavors of a land with which you will fall in love. Maybe it is the volcanic soil typical of this area, maybe it is the breeze of the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea that caresses the rows of vines, maybe it is the love men and women of this corner of Tuscany put in their work: the only thing that is certain is that Maremma wines keep a unique secret, a special taste that cannot be told with words but that you absolutely must try. You will discover how these fine wines are produced, visiting historical wineries, some with a limited production but of high quality, others already open to the international market. You will walk among wonderful vineyards and we will turn into modern winemakers in order to make our own all the secrets of the nectar of Maremma and then taste it, accompanied by the typical enogastronomical products of this strip of flat land, halfway between sea and mountain. Get ready to live an unforgettable day, to know a territory starting from the local products, from the people who live there, from the traditions that animate it, all immersed in a bucolic landscape out of time and space, among Maremma cows, endless expanses of vines and small perched villages in which we will stop to learn more stories and other traditions of this land of Tuscany so precious and fascinating.

Wow! What an experience! This is a great alternate cruise port excursion traveling to Civitavecchia cruise port instead of a port excursion to Rome. I wanted a true Tuscany experience with wine tasting and that is what I got! I apologize but I forgot our tour guide name I think it was Marque. He was amazing! In addition to visiting 2 wineries with amazing wines with rolling hills of vineyards, he brought us to 2 picturesque little towns and I was able to capture the pics I was hoping for. I highly recommend him as a guide and this tour. At each winery there were small snacks provided. No lunch is provided so bring some additional snacks for to have on your all day excursion.

I didn’t know I would totally be on my own On the tour with very little direction Simone was very pleasant I enjoyed my tour More direction would have helped me enjoy the tour more! I have been looking forward to thus tour for quite some time and even paid for the minimum 2 persons cost to be able to go! Jude

Outstanding day with Andrea. He patiently waited while we had some unexpected challenges disembarking from our ship then took us around a lovely village, 2 terrific wine tours (both interesting and really special places) and finally some hot pools. Superb day and highly recommended!

Simi was very safe driver and took me to both sites where I was left alone to visit at my own pace. The entire day was WONDERFUL and I never felt rushed. Was also able to visit Tarquinia Museum. Very knowledgeable and personable.

It was a great tour. Mirco was excellent. We enjoyed our day
