A nice day out, frustratingly shortened by the moving from 5pm to 3pm of the return journey by the ferry company. This left us less time for exploring than I would have liked, but obviously that’s outside the operator’s control. Our guide, Ali, was entertaining and knowledgeable. The visit to the Cave of Hercules was enjoyable, as was the stop in the Sultan’s Palace. The meal was ok, but seemed a bit bland - maybe dumbed down for tourists. Personally I like my food more intense in flavour. The ferry company host organised us well. All in all well worth doing and good value.

The ferry was late so our tour was shortened by over an hour. The guides adjusted and changed the schedule to make it work. They were funny, informative and great at moving the large group around. There were 80-100 of us split in two groups. The lunch was delish and the sights interesting. The small nuggets of information were the best part. The shopping seemed forced in one store and few minutes near another. I would have enjoyed more time to roam the market and see the stores but that might be normal now if we had more time. Ali was the tour guide and is very good at his job!

Wir waren begeistert von der sehr guten Organisation dieses Ausfluges. Alles hat bestens funktioniert, nur bei der Passkontrolle gab es beide Male längere Wartezeiten, wodurch die Fähre jeweils verspätet wegfahren konnte, doch dazu konnte der Veranstalter nichts. Was wir überhört hatten war, dass die Passkontrolle für die Einreise in Marokko auf der Fähre stattfand und wir wurden noch einmal zurück geschickt, um uns den Stempel für den Pass zu holen.
