This was a great tour in the areas of Atlas Mountains and the Merzouga Desert. You get the chance to see lots of villages and do activities in the desert. If you book the 4th day you’ll have more time in the desert (in the morning), visit the Dades Valley and also visit a movie studio in Quazazarte. Our guide Ahmed was really good and helpful. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the hotels, especially the one in the desert where it got really cold during the night and the rooms were not very clean.

This tour was excellent value for money, but it still was in many ways a budget tour. Be prepared for lunch stops to be at places arranged for tour groups which are more expensive than other options in Morocco (100-130 dh) and for drinks (water, coffee tea) to be extra at many of the breakfasts and dinners, and that gratuities are expected everywhere. Have dirhams on hand as 99% of places only accept cash. The luxury tent is 100% worth it!

A pleasant escape from the chaos of Marrakech! The visit to Ait Ben Haddou justifies the early wake up call and Hamza, our guide, made the journey easier with his friendliness. Recommended!
